How did you get into kitesurfing and Big Air?

I was watching my dad windsurfing and a kite surfer came up to me while I was in the water and asked me if everything was ok. I immediately put myself in his shoes and pictured myself kite surfing. I was 9 years old. Right after that, I asked my dad to buy me a traction kite and everything started from there. It was honestly a very chaotic and scary beginning. I learned alone with my father to fly my kite on the beach, and I often found myself in complicated situations because the wind was very strong and I couldn’t control anything. My first ride was about two years later, and my passion only grew from there until I wanted to do nothing else but kite surf.

What do you do before getting in the water?

I warm up and make sure all my gear is properly set up and in good shape to handle my Big Air session.

Tell us your best kitesurfing memory.

Jump 72-meter high from the Cap Fréhel (Brittany) cliff with my kite and softly land a few seconds later.

Worst wipeout?

There have been a handful, but the worst one is still when I was in Cape Town and I probably lost one hour of life when my kite didn’t catch me after a kite loop.

Who would you like to say thank you to?

My father and mother without hesitation.

What’s your favorite F-ONE gear?

TRIGGER 8m² and the TRAX HRD CARBON 137 for sure!
