How did you get into kiteboarding?
I started very young, starting at the beach for years with a trainer kite as I wasn’t heavy enough to hold a kite by myself. My father was a pioneer in Spain and he took me every weekend at the beach, so looking at him kiting for years made me want this so bad.
– What do you do before getting in the water?
I always warm up not to get injured, we are having a level that a crash can be lethal, so that’s important to keep in our minds.

Tell us about your best kiting memory
My best kiteboarding experience was definitely during my first Manera trip in ICELAND in the glacier session, riding between and sliding through the Icebergs.

Your worst wipeout?
I was very young, probably twelve years old and my kite started to loop nonstop. I couldn’t release my leash as I had sand in the security system, and after being dragged for more than 100 meters and almost getting drowned I could release my whole harness.

Who you would like to say thank you to?
First to my family to make me able to get into the sport and to have given me all the facilities since the beginning, in the other hand all the nice people who I have met on the way and have helped me on my development and success and finally the sponsors who have supported me during the way allowing me to be where I am at.
