How did you get into kiteboarding?
I started kiting on the beach with very small kites, and after a little while, I was doing some jumps with them. After three years, I started kitesurfing because it was a dream since the beginning. I just wanted to fly high and do a lot of tricks.
What do you do before getting in the water?
I mostly do some stretching and that’s it.
Tell us about your best memory on the water.
That was probably jumping the world record (at the time) of 36.1 meters a little more than a year ago. And getting second place in my first-ever King of the Air.
Worst crash?
It happened in Denmark after the Cold Hawaii Games. I wasn’t really happy with my performance that day, so I went out again. I didn’t properly loop my kite during a trick, so it went straight to the water from 18 meters high. I crashed really hard and bit my tongue. I didn’t go out immediately, but I can’t really remember a lot of what happened. I had a lot of pain in my ribs after the crash and had a concussion.
Who would you like to say thank you to?
My family for always supporting me in my journey.
A few words on your F-ONE quiver.
It is the gear that will get me to the next level.
