Tell us more about how you got started in wing foiling.

I discovered and tried out wing foiling during the summer of 2020. I was windsurfing at the time, and every day I would go ride on the same spot in Figari, Corsica. There’s a kite school there (Eole Figari) and they were also renting wings, so one day I asked my dad to give it a try. I immediately fell in love with the sport.

What do you do before getting in the water?

Nothing out of the ordinary. I just set up my foil, inflate my wing and off I go! I usually ride with friends, so we talk a bit about what we want to do in this specific session or talk about new tricks for example. Sometimes I warm up, but I rarely think about it.

Tell us about your best memory on the water.

I’ve had a lot of great moments thanks to this sport, but I think the best is a session at One Eye. It was really magical; the wave was perfect.

Worst wipeout?

Definitely the one in the summer of 2022. It wasn’t the most impressive wipeout, but it was the one where I hurt myself the most. It was in Greece, two days before the European Championships. I was training and I did a trick that I already knew how to do and that I didn’t think was dangerous (Rad 720). But I got off balance during my rotation and ended up in my wing. I suffered a double distal wrist fracture. In the end, it was nothing too serious but my whole summer went down the drain.

Who do you like to say thank you to?

First of all, to my parents because without them I couldn’t do a tenth of what I do. But also, to F-ONE and MANERA, who support me and enable me to ride with the best possible gear.

A few words on your F-ONE quiver.

My favorite foil is the PHANTOM. I really like it and it works in all conditions.
