With extensive Sail Engineering work, the profile of the BREEZE V4 is as smooth as ever, and the kite behaves in the air exactly the way it was intended to.
Staggered seams
The team has worked on leveling the entire profile with the new innovative Staggered Seams on the leading and trailing edges.
These break the kite’s back lines tension by balancing the stiffness between seams and cloth, which helps distribute the load over a wider area, and maintain the original shape even under high loads. We kept the fabric’s orientation towards tension as well.
Sleeker Struts’ Reinforcements
The strut reinforcement is now super smooth as well thanks to the Kevlar strip on the top. This improves the kite’s steering and maneuverability, reduces the aerodynamic disturbances, and decreases the overall weight of the kite once wet.
New fabrics – HITEX
The inflatable structure of the BREEZE is made of HITEX 158g. This new high tenacity polyester offers great resistance to elongation and therefore greater durability and performances.
New fabrics – NANO
This kite also features our new NANO canopy 55g. This innovative micro ripstop polyester is used on the entire canopy. It benefits from a NANO coating and a Plasma treatment process that brings an increased rigidity, resistance to elongation and tears, as well as great durability.
These new fabrics and their placement on the kite allow a better control of the profile for a great stability and balance, and also extend its life.
